I conducted interviews among 15 university students between the age of 21 to 33 to understand their needs, expectations and emotions and here are some notable answers I received.

I designed the entire flow with first-time users and older generations in mind. The priorities were to keep it minimalist, warm tone, and simple. These are the multiple versions of the homepage, and the first one was selected by participants because of the playful approach.

The app is close to my heart as it tries to save the emotional and traditional values of Culinary culture. The process of design helped me understand how emotions can play a huge role in design and helped me grow as a designer—also tried illustrating the mascots for the first time in Figma.
What’s next:
adding the recipes through scanning the papers from Recipe books.
testing the ease of use among different generations.
